8 Best Twitter Accounts for Productivity

Best Twitter Accounts for Productivity

As August comes to an end , it’s time to start a new, with batteries charged and determination written all over our faces!

Many great people manage to stay productive through the whole year, and remain disenchanted by warm breezes and margaritas unlike the rest of us. We would be quite stupid to ignore their advice at a time when we aspire to be just like them: Productive.

Here is a list of people who are experts at being productive and inspire me daily:

Lolly Daskal

Lolly Daskal

Lolly is the ultimate goddess of productivity. If you look at her twitter account, you’ll instantly know she actually does what she’s selling – she’s tweeting a lot, but each and every tweet is loaded with value.

She gives real advice on how to change your habits, on leadership and on making every day count.

That one million followers speaks for itself!

Michael Hyatt

Michael Hyatt

The motto on Michael’s page says “Michael Hyatt, your virtual mentor. Win at work, succeed at life”. Isn’t that exactly what we all want – a mentor, who sets his own example on how to shape your character, be successful in business and preserve and develop your personality?

His topics include leadership, business culture, work-life balance and many more. Sharing his articles is always a pleasure.

Inc.com

Inc.

This is not exactly a person, but it’s a collective mind treasure on all things business. You will hardly find a source that provides such consistent value on leadership, business relations, becoming successful and getting things done.

Inc.com also shares advice of truly brilliant entrepreneurs (like Bill Gates or Elon Musk). Never a bad thing to know you can get an insight of, say, the books Donald Trump reads – and get one step ahead on your journey to excellence.

GrooveHQ

GrooveHQ

This one’s a winner. If you tell me you haven’t heard of them, I would say it’s April 1st on the calendar.

The guys from Groove are a startup that tells the story of growing their business – first from zero to $30,000 / month, now from $0 to $500,000 (their success speaks for itself). I’ve been watching them really closely for about 2 years already, and it’s a great pleasure and inspiration to see the company grow. Their blog is a well of knowledge for startup founders, but it doesn’t stop there – they write about remote work, personal and professional growth and lessons learned (even when they’re learned a hard way – Alex, the CEO, is always very upright about their experience.)

Groove recently launched a new section on customer support on their blog and also the “Friday Q&As” section – and I’ve never seen someone share their real-life experience this honestly. Anyway, you’ve got to see it to believe it.

Bruce Van Horn

Bruce Van Horn

An account of pure inspiration. Bruce is the author of the book called “Worry No More” and he is your best source of motivational quotes (quotes more original than “Carpe Diem”, the ones he shares really make you overlook your mindset).

“God feeds the birds, but he does not throw the worms into the nest.” – not bad, huh?

Project Management Experts

Because I work in the field of project management, it’s important for me to keep up to date with the industry. I have a few people that I keep up with obsessively and who have taught me a lot over the years.

Liz Harrin

Liz Harrin

Liz Harrin sets a powerful example of what a woman can do in a man’s world, and be amazingly successful. Elizabeth is a powerful role-model. Not only does she give project management advice, she also shares her wisdom on writing, building your career, good reads and team communication.

Lew Sauder

Lew Sauder

Lew Sauder is the Author of Project Management 101: 101 Tips for Success in Project Management. He has been a project manager for over 15 years.

Lew’s Twitter account oozes with useful professional advice on project and career management, leadership and consulting. One of his latest tweets was an article on why project managers are sexy – not bad to finally learn why, right? 🙂

Harry Hall

Harry Hall

Harry is “helping project managers manage uncertainty”, and that’s exactly what he’s doing. He shares how-to articles, project management basics and advice on how to make your projects successful. Wonderful reads for project managers of any level of expertise.

Must-Reads

These are a couple of articles I personally insist on you reading.

The One Time Management Trick That Actually Works- From my own experience, it’s the only way to really save time and become contented – not just run around stressing out like crazy (as we, marketers, usually do).

No, You don’t have to Work 24/7 to Succeed – An article filled with personal pain of overworking and then realizing it wasn’t worth it.
